Dram Call's ongoing partnership with adidas continues with a third take on the Superstar II, following previous 'Head North' and monochrome releases that drew heavily from Manchester's Metrolink system, terrace culture and the city's wider creative scene. Just like its predecessors, the Superstar II keeps the star Shell Toe intact, meeting butter-soft leather uppers, patent 3-Stripes and heel tabs. Star motifs appear throughout, from the stamped perforations to the silver 3 Star hangtag - while co-branded ripstop tongues add a subtle technical flair. An icy blue outsole sits underneath, offsetting the monochrome upper, while custom packaging, double-sided footbeds and three lace options push this release into collectable territory. | JP8392
